STEM education is sweeping our country by storm!

In an effort to compete globally and ensure career readiness among our youth, the U.S. Department of Education has implemented new initiatives to drive STEM education nationwide from Pre-K to Higher education. Here at Omni Worldwide, we’ve been fortunate enough to capture some of the work being done on the frontlines of STEM education so far with Ignite Worldwide , Cathi Rodgveller M.S. Ed. and STEM Atlanta Women, Dr. Maxine Cain.

Voices from the Frontlines

IGNITE worldwide is based in Seattle, led by the extraordinary Cathi Rodgveller M.S. Ed., who has spent 25 years as a national leader in STEM education for girls and gender-diverse students.

Her mission is to achieve gender equity in STE`M by working directly with teachers and schools to provide programming that promotes STEM education and career advancement for girls and non-binary youth from historically marginalized communities.

Special shout out to our friends at AFINITI for helping make the connection.

We thank them for bringing us out to their tech experience T-Mobile headquarters in Seattle and allowing us to capture such a special event and fundraiser.

Also, we want to highlight all the work that STEM Atlanta women are doing in the South! Led by outstanding community leader, and recipient of President Biden’s Lifetime Achievement Award, the amazing Dr. Maxine Cain!

We were lucky enough to get hired by STEM Atlanta to capture their Annual STEMINIST BALL this past December. It was a dazzling night filled with live music, awards, and recognition for all the schools and students doing amazing things in STEM throughout the year! We can’t wait to hear about all the work the kids and teachers will do this year at the next ball in December 2024.

At this past Ball Charles Neal, President of NAMIC Atlanta received the “Man of the Year” award for his achievements over the year. Here he is posing for a pictured captured by our lead photographer Gavin Delisser:
